Lifted a long time ago but never more than a year consecutively because I ran into mobility issues a couple of times, my left shoulder and my lower back just couldn't take it. You probably did find an answer already in the past year but I didn't read a conclusive answer yet in thread so I thought I would add my experiencez as a little contribution, would love to hear if you or anyone else tried it?

A workout routines enjoyment is much more important cause it'll allow you to be more consistent! You'll learn what you like and don't like and go from there. I'd recommend going online and just pick a routine that you'd think you'd enjoy and just go with it for a while. Other known splits include: Upper/Lower, Push/Pull/Legs, Bodypart split and lots more. So far I’ve been doing mainly cardio and HIIT (15-30mins) intense exercises targeted for lower body and core without any weights, which toned me up slightly, however, my upper body is super weak. After successfully losing some fat I’ve been looking to gain some muscles. Hey guys, I’m M22 new to this sub with 172cm(5’8 feet) and 66kg(145 lbs) with a skinny-fat body type.
